First things first: You’ve seen the billboards around town and the answer is no, they will NOT perform a breast augmentation at this show. A licensed doctor will be there to answer questions, and someone, a woman we hope, has a chance to win the aforementioned work. The rest of the show at 3 Trails Expo, I-435 and 87th St., features bikes, of course, including Kim Suter’s KC Creations bikes. The show also features bands, beers, food, the Wide Open Calendar Girls and Playmate Debbi Davids, who is a former Miss Sturgis and Playboy’s Cyber Girl from last October. Tickets cost $10 in advance at Hooters, and there are $4 off coupons through KC Creations. Hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. See www.wideopenmag.net for more information.
Jim Wheeler's observations, January 13, 2008
Unfortunately, there were -- NO MOTO GUZZIS -- IN the KC Bike Show... At least mine was AT the show.
Here's my 1995 Cali 1100i, headed to Jackson Cycles in St. Joe for its annual visit with guzzi-expert Ace Malott.
First, though, it made a stop at the Mo-Kan Guzzi Club's annual holiday party.
